Melanie Schabauer was born in Lima, Peru during uncertain and convulsed times. Born into a loving family of Austrian descendants, Melanie always stood out due to her natural story-telling skills. Just as her personality, her stories were (and still are) full of bright colors and vibrant shades. 

Always eager to communicate her ideas, Melanie has explored the different areas of communication using countless platforms to express herself; from visual and literary arts, to marketing, advertising and more significantly, journalism.  

During this expressive journey, Melanie found her true passion (whether it was during her years as a teacher, or while she was developing user-friendly digital products, and even as a mother of three); to transmit and deliver ideas clearly and successfully.

As of today, Melanie is still living in an uncertain and convulsed Peru. However, together with her loving husband, her precious “Curly Girl", and her two beloved “Smiley Boys”, they have built a crazy and kind of noisy home (just like herself), but filled with faith, hope and love.
